Game-changing Products to Achieve Silky, Soft Hair

When you’ve had highlights and dyed your hair for years, you’ve probably gotten to the point where your hair gets so dry and brittle you need to revive it. I’m here to share the most useful products I love for my hair after bleaching it time and time again!

This first tip I have has ultimately made the biggest difference with my hair. When I moved from New Jersey to Boston I noticed my hair became so dry and brassy within just a couple of weeks. I immediately went to the salon and they told me that my hair might not be used to the water and suggested I get a shower head filter. I was thinking there’s no way I would do that, but I was still somehow convinced. I ordered this inexpensive one from Amazon and it has made all the difference! My hair was instantly soft and alive again. Not only that, but it also helps your skin so much by filtering out all of the harsh chemicals from the water!

The next product that I’ve been using for a year or two now is the Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector. I LOVE this product so much. I use it as a hair mask about once a week before I shampoo and condition. You can leave it on overnight as well if you wanted to. This product has been such a miracle for my bleached hair and I can’t recommend it enough.

Lastly, another holy grail product I’ve added to my routine is this Hot Tools One-Step Hair Drying Brush. Around Christmas time I was looking to get a new hair dryer and learn how to properly blow out my hair. Then, I came across this styling tool and I thought it would be a better option – and boy was I right! Not only does this give you a flawless blowout in 10 minutes or less, but I’ve even been able to ditch my hair straightener all together! In turn since I haven’t been using my flat iron, my hair alone has become so much healthier.
